We did an experiment in class, which we had to drop different helicopters made of paper from same height and calculate the time of flight. Variables in this experiment are rotor length (x1), rotor width(x2), and number of clips (x3). all the required instructions are attached in pdf. I am just going to explain some stuff in the pdf. X1 is rotor length x2 is rotor width x3 is paper clips “-1” is the low value for design variable xi “+1” is the high value for design variable xi “y” is the performance parameter that you are testing for time. The following is written in yellow in the attached pdf, and I juts want to emphasize them. 1) You have to write an introduction explaining the problem, results, and what do you think about them, how this can help you in your career. 2) make excel sheets and insert same data in the pdf except the data that is highlighted in yellow (it has to be different, you can make up your own but reasonable). 3) then make three diagrams just like in the pdf but corresponds to your data. 4) short discussion of which variables are statistically significant ( It should number of paper clips) based on the data. Discuss the results of the data analysis that led to your conclusion regarding if the data is statistically sound. 5) short discussion for each variable (total 3 and they should be below each diagram) of what results of the response diagram show for your data . Discuss any possible noise variables. 6) put all sheets in a word document including the three diagrams and the writing.
