After you have finished watching all of the video segments listed above, you will then write a 2-page paper discussing your reactions to Dr. DeMartes expert testimony. The reaction paper must include strengths and weaknesses Dr. DeMarte portrayed based on what you have learned in class about expert testimony. What did she do well on the stand (e.g., is she prepared, organized, consistent, etc.)? What could she have improved upon during her testimony (e.g., is she defensive, unclear, etc.)? As you evaluate Dr. DeMarte and her testimony, be sure to discuss her introduction, explanation of psychological test findings, discussion of BPD diagnosis, and discussion of PTSD diagnosis.
