I have a paper that needs to be finished. It should be 5 pages long. I just need a page and a half to be completed and the reference page. I have provided specific references and could use 1 more. I would also ask that the paper flow and any errors be fixed.
These are the instructions.
Formal written assignments must utilize the American Psychological Association (APA) format for style, citations and references. Information on APA style is available at the Purdue OWL Writing Lab: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/10/

Film Writing Assignment:
The use of classic and contemporary media is a unique tool for teaching and engaging students in topics on aging. Films on aging have a great influence on our attitudes, perceptions and in many ways shape our thought processes by what we see visually and how we interact with this population
You are going to select 2 films from the list. Some of these films we will view together and have discussions about, you cannot use one with an asterisk.
Your assignment is, after watching the films, to write an essay, at least 5-6 pages in length, APA style. The essay should research and evaluate the age-related issue, the importance as it relates to public health and then your recommendation.
For example, if you choose a specific disease like Alzheimers, you should discuss the following:
1. Public Health Importance: What is the impact of this issue on the aging population? (for example, use statistics and percentages to make your claim).
What national or local agencies can assist with the age-related issue addressed in the film. (Include at least 4-6 references)
2. Analysis of Social EpidemiologyWhat segment of the aging population does this issue affect? (Whites, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, males, females, poor, etc.) and what are the factors explaining the impact specifically on this segment of the population? (for example: poverty is a factor that has a high negative impact on the aging African American population).
3. Analysis of Current Strategies: Discuss what current strategies are in place to help address the issue, to include- a) to what extent are the current strategies evidence-based, b) are they working or not working and c) why or why not?
4. Recommendations: Discuss what types of strategies can best address this issue; recommendations should be explained within an ecological framework and should include a brief description of evidence in support of your recommendations. Examples of recommendation strategies can be the following:
1) A specific communication strategy to reach the target population, like an education campaign, social marketing, community outreach, community agencies, etc.)
These films that look at age-related issues such as, ageism and stereotypes, abuse, cognitive impairment, death and dying, depression, diversity, family relationships, finances, health disparity, housing, inequality, caregiving, sexuality and intimacy, health and wellness, healthy aging, food insecurity, retirement communities, poverty, work and retirement, etc.
You should consider the current trends, ideas and stereotypes concerning older adults.
What medical challenges do these seniors face, if any? How does it affect the family? How does it affect the local and national community? How do they or can they overcome these obstacles? What did you learn from this film?
Did you observe any inaccuracies? Did the filmmaker properly research the disease or the problem? Your analysis of the film should be supported with evidence and logical arguments.
Pace yourself as you will probably have to do rewrites.
(Remember, you will need to have at least 4 references that support the topic you have selected.)
The paper should be at least 5-6 pages typed and double-spaced. The reference page does not count towards the 6-page count.
You are required to submit the first film review by pre-determined date. Remember do not use terms like, I chose this topic because There is a research component to this assignment and therefore you must use objective data to convince the reader why the issue is important.
