Assignment Prompt
For Key Assignment 2, you will continue to create your assessment plan for your classroom. For this part of your final project, you will create a 1-page rubric to score your evidence piece. Do some research to see what rubrics look like for the skill you wish to assess.
If you are scoring a skill, a rubric will typically be a Chi-square type of product, with columns and rows indicating levels of achievement. The top row usually consists of a numerical or quantitative measure such as 0-4, typically labeled, 0=Needs Improvement, 1=Average, 2=Above Average, 4=Excellent, etc.
For functional areas, instead of a rubric, you can create a tool by which to score your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). For example, you can create a survey based on student/customer satisfaction. Be specific to your area, and do not copy a survey from another institution. Or, you can create a chart for KPI that includes processing times, volume of responses, files completed, etc. Think about what it is you are trying to measure so that you can analyze the improvements you would like to implement.
Design your measurement tool complete with categories and scoring. For survey tools, etc., write all survey questions. For KPIs, create all details of your tool, including concrete descriptions of the indicators you wish to measure.
