In Chapter 20 please find Exhibit 20-2 on page 373. This graphic shows in a very general way some of the differences between the common law (“contract law”) and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC – “sales law”)
Attached is a matrix for you to complete comparing the two. It is loosely based on Exh. 20-2, but it asks for much more specificity. Go through Chapter 20 and fill in the pukas for the UCC. Then go back into the chapters on contracts, primarily Chapters 11-16, and fill in the pukas for the common law.
In Resources, there is a sample matrix for your convenience. (Also see attached.) Feel free to improve the look and feel of the matrix provided. If you do not use the matrix provided, make a table of your own. Do not submit an essay. Free-flowing narratives are more difficult to grade and relatively useless, because it is more difficult to make comparison across characteristics.)
