This assessment is addressing the questions: “Can you use strategic analysis to make strategic recommendations on behalf of a given case study?”.
There is four case study in total. Read the “Instructions” and “Prompts” file for more information related to this assessment.
You will be given four prompts, and your job is to choose one prompt for the assessment. However, I have chosen a prompt for you, which is about “Amazon.com, Inc.” (highlighted and bold in “Prompts” file). I also attached their annual report, their internal and external environment analysis, and industry analysis for you. Please carefully read the file “Amazon’s Analysis”.
Additional lecture notes have been included for your understanding of the course theories (L02 + L03 files).
This assessment will also test your understanding of “Corporate-level strategy”. Hence, please carefully read the file “L05”.
