Are Hydrothermal Vents a source of generating life?

The paper needs to have more explanation and needs to be grammar and spelling error free.
The explanation must be VERY scientific about how hydrothermal vents may produce or create life on the Enceladus. If it is possible or more. Needs to have methods and explain what scientists have done to explain if there is a possibility or not.

Figures have to be added as well to the paper and explain what is being shown and where it was cited.

There is also a PowerPoint which is added to this where I have to talk about what I have researched about, if you could help fill what I have not added to it that would be super helpful! There is a section on the PowerPoint where you can find the notes section, I would like that to be what I would be presenting. The second and third slides were just used as an outline.

Write a research paper on homeownership as an infrastructure for success in Mississippi.

The focus in this paper should be to look at the discriminatory real estate transaction process “redlining” in the south and how it laid an infrastructure for failure for minorites in Mississippi. Covid- 19 saw these groups particularly struggle due to lack of access to healthcare, indispensable job opportunities AND ALMOST NO access to education. However, Covid just brought these problems to light they have been persistent since the civil rights era.

Specifically looking at Mississippi we want to argue that almost a hundred years of discriminatory practices have ravaged and stunted economic growth in minorites and the practices are responsible for the exasperated racial income gap. Not owning a home also led minorites to live in neighborhoods with less desirable education options, healthcare options and economic opportunity to advance. Therefore, Not only were minorites forced to live in redlined areas but also were given little options to succeed causing wealthier Individuals to widen the income gap.

look for particular events or controversies surrounding infrastructure that bring the key stakes to light (e.g. Hurricane Katrina and the levies in New Orleans, the Fukoshima nuclear disaster in Japan, the recent Suez Canal debacle, the Florida wastewater pond near-disaster). In addition to providing the necessary historical/cultural background information, your analysis should consider the materiality, sociality, and wider politics surrounding the infrastructure you are examining.

Be sure to frame your paper around an analytical argument and to aim to really unpack the deeper social and political import of infrastructural development and breakdown.

Write The Impact of Climate Change on Food Security’s choice.

Write The Impact of Climate Change on Food Security’s choice.
The United Nations (UN) has hired you as a consultant, and your task is to assess the impact that global warming is expected to have on population growth and the ability of societies in the developing world to ensure the adequate security of their food supplies.

Case Assessment
As the worlds population nears 10 billion by 2050, the effects of global warming are stripping some natural resources from the environment. As they diminish in number, developing countries will face mounting obstacles to improving the livelihoods of their citizens and stabilizing their access to enough food. The reason these governments are struggling even now is that our climate influences their economic health and the consequent diminishing living standards of their peoples. Climate changes are responsible for the current loss of biodiversity as well as the physical access to some critical farming regions. As such, these changes in global weather patterns diminish agricultural output and the distribution of food to local and international markets. These difficulties will become even more significant for these countries as the Earths climate changes for the worse. Temperatures are already increasing incrementally, and polar ice caps are melting, so the salient question is: what does this suggest for developing societies?

The issue before the developing world is not its lack of food, but rather how to gain access to food. Simply put, changes in our climate are affecting the global food chain, and hence, the living standards of entire populations. Added to this is the fact that food is not getting to where it is needed in time to prevent hunger or starvation. In many developing countries, shortages are due to governments control over distribution networks rather than an insufficient supply of food itself. In effect, these governments are weaponizing food by favoring certain ethnic or religious groups over others. When added to dramatic climate changes that we are experiencing even now, the future for billions of poor people looks increasingly dim.

Instructions
You are to write a minimum of a 5-page persuasive paper for the UN that addresses the following questions about the relationship between atmospheric weather patterns and food security in the developing world:

1. Climate change and global warming are often used interchangeably, but they are not the same phenomenon. What are the differences between the two concepts and what leads to the confusion between them?

2. In 1900, the average global temperature was about 13.7 Celsius (56.7 Fahrenheit) (Osborn, 2021), but as of 2020, the temperature has risen another 1.2C to 14.9C (58.9F). According to the Earth and climate science community, if the Earths surface temperature rises another 2C (3.6F), we will suffer catastrophic weather patterns that, among other things, will raise sea levels, cause widespread droughts and wildfires, result in plant, insect, and animal extinctions, and reduce agricultural productivity throughout the world (Mastroianni, 2015 and Lindsey & Dahlman, 2020). How much credibility do you place in these projections? Why?
3. There is no question that the Earths food sources are threatened by changes in its weather patterns, but what specific challenges does climate change pose to the food security of people in the developing world?
4.There is currently a debate among some multinational lending agencies like the International Monetary Fund, UNICEF, and AID over the financial support for food security has been misused by recipient government officials. On the other hand, U.S. authorities insist that misuse of its assistance is not occurring because it has strict monitoring oversight in place. What is your position on this matter? Is there evidence that financial assistance to developing governments is being widely misused by government officials?

Write a paper discussing how the American dream has become corrupted.

Great Gatsby Essay
Introduction: As you begin, identify the author and work you are analyzing and then state that the primary theme deals with the American Dream. Be sure to explain what that dream is. Then end the introduction with your thesis statement, which will be your assertion. (Use a quote from the book as an interest catcher. The quote should be part of the introduction, not a separate statement and needs to be connected with a transition sentence or phrase.)

Thesis: Through ___(1)_____, _____(2)_____, and ____(3)_____ Fitzgerald develops the theme that in the 1920s wealth, greed, and loss of purpose have corrupted the American dream.
(1) the greed, shallowness, and complete lack of purpose seen in Tom and Daisy Buchanan, Jordan, and the cast of characters that show up at Gatsbys parties (2)the repeating symbolic imagery (you can discuss the colors, the green light, the ashes/dust, the examples of reckless driving) throughout the novel (3)the portrayal of Gatsby and his ultimate failure to realize his lifelong dream.

Write a paper discussing how the American dream has become corrupted. Be sure to support the statement with specific examples and/or quotes from the novel. (minimum of two direct quotes)

Paragraph 3: Again, start the paragraph with a topic sentence that introduces the second means of development listed in the thesis. Be sure to support the statement with specific examples and/or quotes from the novel. (minimum of two direct quotes)

Paragraph 4: Again, start the paragraph with a topic sentence that introduces the third means of development listed in the thesis. Be sure to support the statement with specific examples and/or quotes from the novel. (minimum of two direct quotes)

Conclusion

Paragraph 5: To begin the paragraph, rephrase the thesis that the American dream has been corrupted. Then discuss the last paragraph of the book and explain whether or not Fitzgeralds assertion that the dream we as Americans are chasing is actually in the past and unattainable and to what degree (the same, less, more) it is applicable in todays America than it was in the 20s when Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby.

Length requirement is 800-1,000 words

Explain how your policy options work to remove constraints or introduce new opportunities into your model that would lead to better outcomes?

Final Paper — Policy Brief Instructions
PLEASE READ the “Course Criteria for Good Writing” found below for guidance about my expectations.

Your paper should be 7 to10 pages long (not including charts or references.)

Your paper should include the following sections which should appear as HEADERS in the paper:

Introduction — in a paragraph or two briefly explain what your paper is about.

The Problem — In a few sentences describe your chosen issue as a problem and tell your reader why they should care about. You may want to cite data to make the case for your argument here. Your revised Constrained Choice model should be included at the end of this section. You may choose to include your narrative piece about the “character” from your model here or throughout your paper but you do not have to use it.

Background — this is where you put your evidence and discuss your issue at greater length. It is also where you might include graphs and charts to illustrate your issue and concerns. This part of your paper may be several pages long. Here you should cite evidence from articles you have read, course materials and web sources. You are backing up your statements and opinions here with the research and writing of the experts.

Stakeholders — Who is most interested in the issue and who is affected by it and/or by the response you suggest to it. Be sure to review Bardach for insight into how to create this list. You may describe your stakeholders in narrative paragraphs or in list form. In addition to naming the stakeholders you should briefly explain what their interest is in the issue. You should also include a brief introductory paragraph and summary paragraph in this section. You should give a sense of which stakeholders you are most concerned with. Remember that you are not likely to please everyone when you make policy recommendation. This section may be a couple of pages long.

Possible Policy Responses — You can suggest a single policy response or several. Do not do more than 3. This section should include Pros and Cons for each response you choose to write about. The Pros and Cons can be presented in a list format in a table or written out in narrative paragraphs. The work you did with the Bardach Exercise should be expanded in narrative form and incorporated into this part of your paper and those below. In this section think back to your constrained choice model. Explain how your policy options work to remove constraints or introduce new opportunities into your model that would lead to better outcomes?

Best Option and Next Steps — Choose a policy response and present your argument for why it is the best one, incorporate (but do not repeat) the important pros and cons from above section in your discussion. Suggest how this policy might be brought forward, what it would take to make it real. You will use your imagination, common sense and learning from the course to complete this section. This section should be several pages long.

Conclusion — Briefly summarize the main points of your paper. This section should be a page or less.

You are encouraged to include graphs, charts or illustrations that help illustrate your work but it is not required.

Be sure to properly cite all quotes, and any graphs, charts or illustrations.

Sources for your paper should include your textbooks from this course and any of the articles in the course materials, other articles, web material and/or reports from the New York Times, academic journals, government or nonprofit sources.

Wikipedia and other random websites are not acceptable sources.

Course Criteria for Good Writing
Responsiveness: Your paper must respond appropriately to the assignment. It must show that you have understood that the assignment asks you to write both according to the topics assigned and a formal, argumentative essay, with a thesis statement, concrete example, quotes, analysis, and a thought-provoking conclusion.

Thesis: Does your paper have a clear conceptual argument, or thesis, to it, a claim which says clearly what your argument is? Is that thesis/claim specific and clear to your readers? Does it appear in the first paragraph of your paper? Is your thesis/claim complex enough so that it is not already self-evident? Will it make your audience care? Does your thesis/claim have authority behind it? Is it assertive and sure of itself?

Focus: Does the rest of your paper focus clearly on the argument you laid out in your thesis? Have you followed the logic required by your conceptual thesis, excluding what is irrelevant? Do you make clear what the different parts of your paper have to do with each other and with your thesis/claim? Does the paper made good organizational sense? A well-focused paper will follow clearly first from the thesis and then from one idea to the next, avoid unclear digressions, and its different parts will all be relevant to the thesis/claim you are making.

Fullness: First, have you established your argument fully in your introduction? Is that first paragraph a solid basis for the ideas you have on the argument you want to present? Throughout the paper, do you give your arguments enough time? Do you say enough, staying with each point long enough to convince your readers that you know what you are talking about? Do you develop your ideas logically so that your argument can be followed, and so that your readers will grant you authority for what you say? Do you follow up quotations from the text with analysis so that your readers will understand why that quotation was integral to your argument?

Specifics: First, do you make your argument in specific terms? Do you give examples and details so that your readers can actually see what you mean? Do you quote sufficiently from your text providing quotations as concrete evidence for your argument? Are the grounds you give and the text you quote relevant to the point you are trying to make? And second, are there enough road signs–transitions and connections–so your readers know where you are going?

Presentation: How well have you edited your paper? Are there spelling errors? Awkward sentences? Punctuation problems? Does your style fit your purpose? Is the voice clear? Is your diction (word choice) appropriate? Is your prose clear and smooth? Are your sentences varied in style and length? Is your reader going to be able to read your essay without being distracted by spelling errors, typos, and misplaced punctuation?

What kind of influence the American people have on them through a) public opinion, b) interest groups, c) social movements, d) voting (make sure you address all 4, and be specific about all four.

ESSAY: Make sure to answer all parts. 33 points.
Are Congress, the President, the Bureaucracy, and the Supreme Court representative of the American people and their interests? Do these people seem to act more as delegates (who carry out the wishes of the people exactly) or as trustees (who do what they think is best for the people, sometimes against what people say they want)?

Answer these questions by describing, for each of the 4 (and note the two groups in the bureaucracy):
1) how they gain office (by being elected, appointed and by whom, or taking a test),
2) what demographics of people (sex, race, ethnicity, income, education) tend to hold those offices, and
3) what kind of influence the American people have on them through
a) public opinion, b) interest groups, c) social movements, d) voting (make sure you address all 4, and be specific about all four. Yes, #3 here is basically the same as what you were asked on the midterm.)

–Overall, do you feel that you can influence this process? Why or why not?
–Overall, do you feel that your local and state representatives, your national representatives, and the current President represent you well? Why or why not?

This essay has 14 parts: 4 parts of government times the 3 questions above, which is 12 parts (#3 being longer than the others, but you have already done that work), then the last 2 overall questions which is your opinion based on what you learned.
