Please view the attached document. I have already had the outline/proposal paper written by a “Best Available” writer and have been given approval from my professor for my topic. A majority of the work has already been completed. Below will be the instructions for the Proposal Paper (for you to understand what kind of paper it is), and below that will be the instructions for the FINAL PAPER.
Proposal Instructions (just for review to be up to speed, do not work off of this. This has already been completed)
Select a topic for your first Term Paper (Major Paper #1) and write a general proposal (3-4 pages max) outlining the subject you wish to research and the details of what you plan to do. The proposal should include both a detailed narrative about the topic AND a general outline of the topic you want to write about and how you plan to organize the paper. The topic should be about an area of interest from the field of Information Science. It can be about the history of information science, information science related technologies (systems), people who made important contributions to the field, information society, important areas (information retrieval, data mining, knowledge management, academic literature, medical literature, governmental literature), or any other subject of interest from the many readings. The paper SHOULD NOT be about information science careers, jobs, or professions. This will be the topic of Major Paper #2. To find out more about alphanumeric (formal) outlines follow the link below:
FINAL PAPER INSTRUCTIONS (this is what needs to be completed)
Final deliverable: Your deliverable should be an 8-9 (max) page double spaced (use normal headers, footers and margins=1″, Font=Times or Ariel, Size=12) Word document in APA Style (plus references) which addresses the topic you selected. Please do not use “.pages” docs since they do not open in Canvas. NOTE: Paper should be 8-9 pages long PLUS the Cover Page and References or List of Works Cited. So overall the paper might end up being 10-13 pages long. Use images, diagrams, charts, screen captures, etc. when (if) appropriate. You will also create a one page summary, abstract, or short PowerPoint discussing the highlights or main points of your paper that will be posted in the “Discussions” section of the course Canvas site for your classmates to view. The assignment is worth 100 points and 35% of your final grade. The main paper will be worth 90 points and the summary will be worth 10 points. Be creative and have some fun with this!
