This assignment is a research paper on a topic in cognitive neuroscience. Content, punctuation, grammar, spelling, and references will all be graded. The paper must be in APA format.
Undergraduates: The body of this paper should be a minimum of 10, double-spaced, typed pages in length, not including title page, and reference pages (12 pt font), and will review a minimum of 10 to 12 journal articles. Do not turn in a paper with fewer than 10 content pages or you will be penalized. The review paper should be on a topic in Cognitive Neuroscience. It will be in a writing style and scope comparable to those published in Current Directions in Psychological Science
Your paper should include:
– An introduction to the topic, including any relevant background. You should talk about why this topic of study is important and/or theoretically interesting. (15 points)
– A review of the current theoretical and empirical knowledge pertaining to this field of study (30 points)
– A conclusion summarizing the topic as you have presented it and giving possible future directions. (10 points)
– The full citation of the papers you used for the review and any supporting material in APA format. (5 points)
– Overall style and clarity. Does the paper make sense as a whole? Have you told a cohesive story? Did you use proper grammar and APA format throughout? (10 points).
