The paper should be in APA format and include a title page, an introduction, body, conclusion, and reference page. No abstract is needed. Must be 5 pages in length (not including title page/reference page) and have at least five references (within five years). No identifiable data such as unit, name, initials, age, and admission date. Introduction (5 points): General overview of the client. Include the medical diagnosis, pertinent medical and social history, as well as reason for current hospitalization.
Human Flourishing (20 points): Discuss the development of the plan of care for the client. Include medical treatments, surgical, and pharmacological agents used. Provide a research based rationale for each. Evaluate how the values and needs of the client were respected, and how decisions for care were made.
Nursing Judgement (20 points): Describe how safe and effective patient centered care was provided throughout the nursing process. Include NURSING assessment findings, planning for care, implementation, and evaluation.
Spirit of Inquiry (20 points): Using reliable/valid research articles discuss one alternative treatment modality not utilized in the client. Include how this alternative could improve quality of care or quality of life for the client, the family, and/or the community.
Conclusion (5 points): Summarize the paper.
