Read the article and write a short essay addressing the following:
i)Identify the writer’s main contention(s), and his supporting argument(s).
ii)Explain how these contentions bear on the current situation in HK. For instance, which social or political practices, or aspects of our current way of life, does the author critique?
iii)Critically discuss the writer’s position. For instance, you may examine the plausibility of the premises the writer relies on, and/or the quality of the inferences he made.
*** The portion for the three parts should be 20%,30% and 50%.
This course is about critical thinking. For part (i) and (ii), the content should be mainly based on the attach article.
Other references are needed for the whole essay, especially for part (iii). No restrictions on the number of references.
