The purpose of the Current News Event activity is to create opportunities for students to keep up to date with current news and events related to Workforce / Human Resource Focus in Organizations. The Current News Event also provides opportunities for students to practice effective presentation skills using an Assertion-Based PP approach (Headline and Graphic). The PowerPoint slide should be submitted with a title (such as your Headline or Assertion Statement) that makes it enticing for other students to want to click on your attachment to view your PP slide and make comments. You will also be automatically assigned 3 other classmates slides to review and at least 3 classmates will view your PP slide. Rubric or Grade-Sheet: This assignment will be evaluated using this grade-sheet. ___ Single professional-looking presentation PP slide prepared in an Assertion-Based format (5 pts) ___ Content aligned with topical area (5 pts)
