What is the importance of data classification from a security perspective?
Provide an example of an actual company that has its data classified into security levels (confidential, non-confidential, etc.). Make sure to provide the references that you used.
You are hired by a company as a computer security consultant to classify the data within the company. This company works in the health IT domain and has access to patient data along with employee data (among normal data within the company). Provide a classification for the data based on which category should be secure.
