Format: MLA style
Length: 10 entries (usually 3+ pages)
Directions:
Use Google Scholar and the EBSCOHost databases to locate 10 credible sources on your topic. Number your entries. Each entry must include the following elements:
A correct MLA citation for the source.
A brief (5-7 sentence) summary of the main points of the sources argument. (That means you need to read the abstract and/or skim the article to represent the article fairly in your summary!)
An evaluation of the sources credibility. Explain how you know it is a credible source of information. Discuss any concerns you have about the source’s credibility or bias.
An explanation of how you will use the source in your essay. Will it provide supporting evidence, a counterargument, a rebuttal, an opening or closing hook, or something else?
