The purpose of this week’s DB is to explore issues that impact health, how innovations could help solve those issues, and the outcomes we hope to achieve when we implement a health innovation. One of your readings this week is the article, Health care policy wishes for 2019, by Swapna ReddyLinks to an external site., where five health care issues we face in the United States are described. Unfortunately, even though this article was targeted for 2019, the issues raised are still as applicable as they were last year. Choose one of these issues and conduct some independent research about the issue and possible health innovations that could prove beneficial in addressing the issue.

Describe one of the issues discussed in the article. Conduct independent research and present evidence that shows the importance of this issue. Cite the new reference(s) you found.
Identify a possible health innovation (it can be one that someone else has already developed or a new one that you imagine). Explain how the innovation will help meet one or more of the Triple or Quadruple Aims while also addressing the issue you chose from the article.

Explain how this relates to the expected health outcome. Cite any references you use.

Explain how we would know if the health innovation has been successful in addressing the issue. In other words, how will we know if the outcomes have been met?

You must use a new reference that is NOT from the course.
