Artists and art critics view this issue from differing perspectives, and this sort of controversy is what your Investigative Research Project should tackle.

Provides background information on the controversy; where did it start? What triggered the discussion?
Identifies the common stances scholars in your subject take on this issue.
Describes the current state of the issue; what stance seems to be taking the lead? What is the current state of the discussion?
