Research question:
RQ: Why was it easier for Saudi Arabia to adopt digital television than other Middle Eastern Countries?
Research Hypotheses:
H1: In order to adapt to digital television authorities have to give up some control of access to mediated information.
H2: Authorities in countries that experienced an Arab Spring uprising didnt want to contribute to more instability by giving up some control of access to mediated information.
H3: Countries that experienced Arab Spring uprisings will be compliant with the ITU resolution that dictates they must adopt digital television by 2020.
