Extra Credit Assignment: the Donut Newsletter
This semester you have been subscribing to the Donut daily newsletter. For this assignment, you are to discuss an event mentioned in the Donut related to Geography that occurred during the span of this course. Possible ideas include but are not limited to: Natural disasters (i.e earthquakes, wildfires, landslides, tsunamis, storms etc.), Demographics, Migration, Agriculture, Urban Development, or any other relevant topic.
You must use the Donut newsletter and may use outside sources as well providing you cite them. Include a summary of the topic and discuss how it relates to the realm of geography. Provide the date of the Donut article as well as any articles used to substantiate your summary. Assignment length 1-2 pages not including citations.
