Discuss the cyberpunk genre and its relation to two films as well.

This paper is a film analysis paper on two films: Ghost in the Shell (1995 animated film ) and Akira.

Topic: Exploring the dichotomy between human and non-human (artificial intelligence and advanced technology) and analyze both films through this central theme. You can make an argument whether the films have the same message or a different message but please substantiate that claim in the writing. Include film elements such as the characters, dialogue, plot, cinematography, shots and scenes, environment and overall film elements to substantiates the claims. This is a film genres course so I need to include elements of the film for my analysis. Discuss the cyberpunk genre and its relation to two films as well.

Below, I have attached additional details but the above is the prompt for the paper.

This paper is for my Film Genres class. I need my paper to be written on two films, Ghost in the Shell ( 1995 animated film ) and Akira ( an animated film). It needs to be a film analysis of the two papers. The central theme of both films is on the dichotomy between the human and non-human (artificial intelligence ). I need my paper to discuss the elements of each film and how those elements such as the plot, themes, cinematography, characters, dialogue, and all aspects of the films relate to the central theme of “What does it mean to be human”.

The topic of the paper is about Akira and Ghost in the Shell (1995) and exploring the cyberpunk genre and its depiction of the non-human (Artificial intelligence and sentient computers).

Ghost in the Shell ( 1995 Japanese animation) and Akira discuss existential themes and both explore the dichotomy between mind and body that is pervasive in sci-fi films. They also dive specifically into the cyberpunk sci-fi genre and I would would explore how each film does so.
