You are encouraged to use case studies of specific cities. In 1,500 words, that is rather a hard task! Students therefore may prefer to write their essay on a single city form, using an example or examples. Similarly, rather than attempting to examine connections between all four dimensions of the city (built environments; politics; culture; and inhabitants experience/identity), you may also choose to narrow down the scope of your discussion, perhaps by using some of the core shorthand ideas of the course. For example, you might choose to look at both the construction and production of space of your chosen city. Or you may like to use the violence of architecture metaphor that explores both the ordering of space and users re-ordering of it. Users here may be pluralised, so that conflict between users in public space becomes a core aspect in considering their experience or perception of the city. Last, we strongly recommend that in your introduction you tell us (the readers) how you are cutting your essay down to size. That is, good essays tell their readers what they are doing, and what the reader will encounter as they continue. Have started some of the essay but the rest needs to be finished, that is attached named ANTH3003 Major Essay. The sources already included in the essay must be used and the only other sources that can be used are in the attached file called recommended sources.Happy to have the parts already written to be rewritten but keep the general argument/idea
