Research question: During the COVID-19 pandemic, what are the stress management and coping strategies utilized by NHS ITU nurses in the UK? (Feel free to change this if needs improvement) AIM: The aim of this research is to investigate the major stressors or sources of stress for ITU nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the best combination of coping and stress management strategies that are found to be effective for NHS ITU nurses in England. (feel free to change the aim of this research proposal if you feel like it needs improvement) Methods: I will perform secondary research using narrative review identifying the relevant results in the scientific and medical literature regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. I will also highlight the most relevant data concerning the disease characteristics, the organizational factors, and personal factors that may contribute to developing stress and the stress management and coping strategies of NHS ITU nurses in England. Objctives: NOTES:This will be used for my dissertation next semester so I wanted to maximize my literature to set myself up for the future.We must also mention the appraisal tools we used briefly. Either CASP for qualitative research or EPHPP for quantitative research method.
