Directions
With your ELLs and/or bilingual students linguistic and academic needs in mind, you will select an appropriate digital tool youve learned through the course for the purpose of designing a lesson plan that engages and empowers students. The lesson plan with technology application must be created for this course only.
End product:
1). Lesson plan: Address how the technology in the lesson supports diverse learners content and language learning, engages and empowers them, and transforms the instruction within and beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
2). A digital artifact: The digital artifact should be collected during the implementation stage. The artifact can be created using a pre-designed template or app but the content must be original. The digital artifact can be the link or file youve created, or a picture showing how students interact with the technology, or a screenshot of products created through the technology application.
3). A narrated presentation reflecting on the effectiveness of the lesson plan and discussing potential changes you plan to make to improve or enhance the lesson.
Section I Planning & Implementation:
Appropriate technology for the lesson: Identify the technology you plan to use for the lesson after conducting a research at the school site about the available digital tools and technologies.
Rationale: Explain 1) how you use the technology framework(s) to guide your selection of the technology for the lesson; 2) how you use the research (e.g., culturally responsive teaching, personalized learning, and/or project based learning) to design the lesson.
Participants: Who do you design the lesson for (including a brief description of the grade level, English language proficiency levels and content area)?
Standards: What standards will this lesson address? (Consider content area standards such as Common Core State Standards, Social Studies Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, or ACTFL standards, WIDA English Language Development Standards, and ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Standards for Students.
Objectives: What content knowledge, language and literacy strategies, and technology skills will students practice or acquire through this lesson?
Lesson procedures: Provide a step-by-step description of how the lesson will go. Highlight how it engages diverse learners, deepens their content knowledge, linguistic competency, and technology skills, and transforms learning within and beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
Assessment: Explain how you assess student learning.
Implementation: Teach the lesson with one or more students, or share it with a practicing teacher to receive feedback.
Section II Reflection:
Use the Triple E lesson evaluation rubric for a self-assessment of the effectiveness of technology application (https://www.tripleeframework.com/triple-e-printable-rubric-for-lesson-evaluation.html).
Use a digital tool (e.g., narrated PowerPoint, Google Slides, Powtoon, or video recording) to create a narrated presentation that shares your reflection on the effectiveness of technology application based on the Triple E rubric. Discuss what you would do to improve or enhance the effectiveness of technology application if you were to implement this lesson again.
Please see the file that I upload it and it suppose to be like this. Thanks. Answer the questions from the file step by step
