As for materials, I was planning on just using wikipedia and maybe a few other google links. Honestly, it doesn’t really matter, I just need to turn in something readable about Emperor Trajan and how he was considered a “good ruler”, if not the best of the Roman emperors.
He was considered good because the rulers before him were insane, self-indulgent, or some kind of combination of both (so the bar wasn’t exactly set that high). However, what’s so fascinating about him was that he was a master at propaganda and manipulation, but wasn’t abusive with it and directed people to working for the best interests of Rome.
