REQUIREMENTS
Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. A. Create a diagram or table in which you illustrate how two policies or processes at your PPE organization correspond with government regulations or accreditation standards.

B. Discuss two of the external accreditation, certification, or licensing agencies to which your PPE organization reports, including the following:
1. mission or purpose of the regulatory agency
2. who the regulatory agency serves
3. why your PPE organization follows the regulatory agencys guidelines
C. Discuss quality improvement programs or projects in place in this organization by doing the following:
1. Identify two quality improvement programs or projects currently in place at your PPE organization.
a. Explain why each program or project was implemented.
b. Explain the goals for each quality program or project (i.e., what outcome should be achieved?).
c. Discuss whether each program or project is achieving its goals.
D. Analyze the organizations process for retention and disposal of health information by doing the following:
1. Explain the HIPAA law for storage and disposal of health information.
2. Explain state guidelines for retention and disposal of health information.
3. Outline the organizational policies currently in place that address health information retention and disposal.
