Purpose:
To give you training in how to properly format a paper for a university class in MLA format, and to give you practice in presenting information objectively and factually to a reader. Please note that the fundamental purposes of this paper are to make sure you format your essay correctly in terms of MLA style, both within the report itself and in the accompanying Works Cited page, and an understanding of what is an academically acceptable source. A passing paper must closely adhere to this format and have all sources be appropriate for the academic community (no Wikipedia, no unacceptable websites, articles without authors are suspect, old data is a problem, etc.).

Prospects: How easy/difficult will it be to land a job in your chosen career? (Data might include: How many projected openings might there be during the period you will be job hunting?
