1. Find another real-life example of misusing the measures of central tendency or imagine an example in which central tendency is misused (you could imagine a psychology-related research scenario, a political scenario, advertising scenario, etc). Explain the example, how central tendency is being misused and finally how best to fix it.
2. If you are misusing reports of central tendency as in the examples given and you are not lying, then what is the issue? In many professions (think about politicians or advertisers for instance) ones job is to persuade others. Is knowingly misusing central tendency the same as lying about the statistics? Is there ever a time when it is defensible to do? Explain your position.
