Objective: You must submit a Formal Outline (for a Formal Research Essay.) This should reflect the format of the downloadable handout, “The Formal Outline Structure .”
Directions:
This outline must respond to one of the short stories read and discussed in class, “Young Goodman Brown”, “The Lottery”, “The Monkey’s Paw”, and “A Good Man is Hard to Find.” The outline must include the introduction paragraph, three-body paragraphs, and a summary paragraph. Each paragraph should be approximately 15 sentences long.
