Goals and ObjectivesTo understand selected issues related to global inequalities andTo gain experience in writing a critical essay that evaluates and considers the viewpoint of the author in the context of other issues and ideas you have learned inside and outside of classTo discuss your book review with others who read the same book and develop a group presentation.Requirements Each student will write a 500-700 word essay that provides a critical review of the chosen book. The formatting requirements remain the same as previous response papers. In general, your essay should identify specific strengths and weaknesses of the book you are reviewing, and explicitly state the reasons why they are strengths and weaknesses. In addition, the essay should put the book in the context of its importance, relevance, and connection to global inequalities and health and the class as a whole. This section should be the longest part of your paper.
