Read an ancient Athenian play (either drama or comedy) and react to it as someone from an oppressed or underrepresented group. Such groups might include women (of any social or legal status!), metics (free, non-citizen foreigners), poor laborers, or enslaved people. How did the work make you (i.e., the persona you have taken on!) feel? What parts of it resonated most? How is your reaction to the work different from that of its intended audience? What else would you have liked to see in the play?
You may choose any play from The Greek Plays or the collection of plays of Aristophanes (you may not choose The Persians, Antigone, Lysistrata, or Medea)
