Format your paper as such for each of the FIVE articles:
Give the title and author of the article. Paste the url link to the article.
Section 1, Summary: Summarize in your own words what the article is about. Make sure to include the key points and arguments of the issue or event presented. What is the objective of the article; why is it being written? What is the purpose and targeted audience of the article? Response should be objective and the grader should be able to understand the article based on your summary. (5 points)
Section 2, Impact: Were you aware of the issue or event presented in the article before reading about it? How might the issue or event impact you locally? How might the issue or event impact a larger scale (regional or global)? What are two future implications, impacts, or outcomes of the issue or event? Responses will be subjective. (5 points)
Section 3, Opinion: What was your initial opinion or bias regarding the issue or event presented in the article before reading it? Explain how the article confirmed or challenged your initial opinion or bias. How was your opinion or bias affected (reinforced or changed) after reading the article about the issue or event? Responses will be subjective. (5 points)
Section 4, Rationale: Why did you select the article, and how is the issue or event related to the content of our course, Introduction to Environmental Science? Which aspects of the article caught your interest; why was it newsworthy to you? What are two new concepts or ideas you learned from the article? Responses will be subjective. (5 points)
Responses to each section must be at least one paragraph (3 or more complete sentences), and at least one or more pages per article. This project will be a minimum of five pages.
Use font Times New Roman and 12 pt font size. Set line spacing to 1.5.
