The three aspects of the issue that I will include in my paper are as follows:
1. Open border policy would indeed lead to global prosperity in business and opening up of
the country’s economy. The border policy would open up business opportunities for
immigrants to open up companies in the United States of America and help in the growth of
the U.S economy.
2. The reunification of families was achieved when an open border policy was implemented.
Many families in the United States had been displaced, mostly children, due to the country’s
immigration policies. The children left to live as refugees since they are not allowed entry
into the United States due to some of the policies implemented. The open border policy
would enable the children to reunite and live happily with their family and therefore be able
to obtain citizenship in the United States. I choose these aspects because I had
experienced this agony while I was in a refugee camp for 19 years.
3. An open border policy in the United States of America would indeed lead to an
understanding of different cultures and how to cope with different situations when interacting
with immigrants.
The other points I would like to include in my paper are as follows:
-The United States of America should grant amnesty to the undocumented immigrants who
have been productive and peacefully settled in the United States of America.
– Undocumented immigrants should also be afforded social services such as free health
care. Health is one of the basic needs of humans to survive, and it should be granted to all
individuals regardless of whether they are citizens or not.
