In this report, discuss the evidence for weather and water-derived erosion on rocks on the landscape. Consider how Earth’s landscape would look without the impact of weather and water.

In this report, discuss the evidence for weather and water-derived erosion on rocks on the landscape. Consider how Earth’s landscape would look without the impact of weather and water.

Successful reports will include four paragraphs:

Paragraph 1: Define the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and the lithosphere
Paragraph 2: Discuss the ways that the atmosphere and hydrosphere modify igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks and the different ways each rock type responds to weathering.
Paragraph 3: Provide an example of a sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic landform* describe how these landforms have been modified by the hydrosphere/atmosphere.
Paragraph 4: Speculate upon how the earth’s landscape would look if there were no atmosphere and hydrosphere. What type of landforms would exist? Do we see evidence of this type of environment anywhere in the Solar System?
