Journal Article Review- Public Health Program Analysis: Models of Individual Health Behavior
Conduct a journal article search for a study that provides information on a public health promotion/prevention program that utilized a theoretical framework. Pick one study and develop an analysis of it. This analysis must respond to the following questions (in narrative form):
In which setting was the health promotion/prevention program implemented? What was the rationale for the selection of the setting?
What theory guided the program or study? How was the theory used?
What was the population intended for the intervention? Why?
Describe the major issue addressed.
What were the results of the program or study?
In what ways did the program or study contribute to the field of health education/promotion?
Format and Mechanics
The analysis should be no more than four pages, typed, double-spaced, using 11 point standard font. Your assignment needs to be in a Word document. Please number all of your pages and place your name as a header on each page. All pages must use 1 inch margins. Any additional references used for the report must be formatted in APA 7th style and listed at the end of the report under the heading of References. The references should not be counted in the page limit. Please include a citation for the article chosen for this assignment.
