In your response, do not directly quote the textbook or copy and paste information from other sources without citing them properly. Your answers to the questions of the exam need to reflect your personal understanding of the information/data presented so do not overly rely on quotes. If you use a quote, specific wording, or fact(s) from the text or other source you must cite and reference where you got the information from. Failure to cite information will be considered plagiarism. Please follow the APA Style when citing your sources and include a bibliography.
You do not need an opening paragraph or conclusion unless specified, just answer the prompts of essay question.
In regards to length/# of words required for your response, there is no magical number. However, if you want a number, I would say your response should be a minimum of 400 words and no more than 1000. You should also have at least three references for your response and you should definitely include information from the book (i.e., cite and reference the author(s) of the chapter(s) used.
Your responses are to represent your personal understanding on the course material so do not overly rely on outside sources although they can and should be used for examples. Good luck and study well.
