With this assignment, I would like for you to take a topic in economics and analyze it using the concepts and ideas developed in the course. You can follow the format for writing a paper described in the attached document. You can choose to analyze any applicable topic in economics that interests you using the paper guidelines provided (below). In short, you should the following three things:
1) Choose an acceptable topic that can be analyzed using economic science;
2) Choose a point of view on said topic, and gather research supporting your argument; and
3) Describe at least one opposing point of view, then discuss how your argument refutes it.
The writing assignment should be between 500 – 1000 words (although if it is more than 1000 words I will potentially accept it). You should also cite the research you use within, or at the end of, your paper.
