In order to receive credit for their work, a student must answer certain questions from each chapter that meets the following requirements:
Include in-text citations which identify the exact location of the source of the information provided. This includes the use of the required text-book in the course. In addition, this may include the actual page number (depending on the type of citation see APA information for details).

Businesses that 1) provide telephone services, 2) manufacture guns, 3) invest in the construction and use of prisons.
Section 3 – Explain how the following social aspects serve as explanations that perpetuate the New Jim Crow:
Individuals are less likely to talk about race or racial oppression.
Model black citizens send misleading messages about the reality or racism in the United States.
Black police officers (as well as other criminal justice practitioners) engage in racial profiling.
Blacks are afraid to openly challenge or disagree with Black leaders.
