Dissertation Project is divided into three parts
I am studying in 1st year MBBS in UK. I have been given an assignment to write 1000 word dissertation on narrative medicine periodic visit to a patient. Narrative-based medicine involves seeing the patient’s health issue from their perspective and understanding their suffering. Practicing medicine with narrative competence results in a better understanding of the patient’s story, making you a more effective clinician and increasing patient satisfaction.
We have to understand medical history and psycho social impact of prevailing medical conditions on the patient.
I am assigned one patient(old lady). I visited 1 time and two times on phone (due to COVID) starting from Jan 2020.
