It has come to my attention that some of you are taking extended lunch hours. In some cases, persons leave the compound to conduct personal business for more than the hour allocated and return to work extremely late. Others engage in lunch time games, surfing the Internet, using social media and return to work late as well. In any case, too much productive time is being lost. Some of you are too lazy and irresponsible yet you expect to be paid for a full day of work. Production at this company has declined significantly and we are receiving multiple complaints from customers about poor quality service. As of Monday, an employee monitoring system will be implemented. In addition to logging in when you arrive at work, you will be required to log out when you are leaving your area for a lunch break and log in when you return. It is such a pity that it has come to this, but this foolishness has to stop.
Anyone who is caught not adhering to the policy will have to answer to me. This is a place of business and we do not want to be taken advantage of by slackers. It is too bad that a few bad apples always have to spoil things for everyone.
