The aim of this assignment is to create a hypothesis based on a previous paper by Holzer et al pertaining to limb amputation and other aspects. this paper is the main focus of this assignment. I have attached the type of format this should follow. I have also included the data used to test my hypothesis which should be analysed using IBM SPSS software. There is a result section whereby I would like the inclusion of descriptive and inferential statistics. I would also like the data output included so I am able to insert it in the appendices. the research question would be to what extent does gender affect body image and self-esteem perception in lower limb amputee individuals. the hypothesis will therefore be that women will have more destructive body image perception than men and will also have lower self-esteem scores. I have attached the data file in excel format to be transformed into IBM SPSS software and a video given to help with this (I am unable to attach it but can send it to the writer separately) and any other outlines to help with the write-up. the main paper to include and refer back to is the Holzer paper but others to support my hypothesis would be very useful.
