Research the websites of three competing businesses of your choice. For example, you might research home improvement centers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Menards. Find their job listings, which are typically located under categories such as Careers or Career/Job Opportunities on their websites. Additionally, you might use the following sites to search for job postings:
Indeed.com
Monster.com
LinkedIn.com
Part Two. After you visit three different websites, complete the following
Select one leadership job posting (e.g., supervisor, team leader, manager, etc.) from each of the three websites you visited. Include the URL (web address link) for each of the three postings.
Compare and contrast (similarities and differences) what skills and characteristics are required to be a possible candidate for each position.
Do you feel these types of skills are learned traits or is one born a natural leader? If so, why or why not?
