Objective: to promote the students interest in new health care trends and become familiar with medical journals and basic APA citation style.
Directions: The student will prepare a Written Summary on a topic mentioned in the text. While the summary can discuss a new drug, new procedure or therapy, or new development regarding a disease process related to the topic that is mentioned in the first 12 chapters of the text. Any of these areas are acceptable but the main topic must be mentioned in the first 12 chapters of the text. Please make sure that your topic is directly from the text and mentioned in the first 12 chapters of the text. There will be no exceptions, (i.e. please do not have any summaries on COVID 19)
Articles should be from a CCSF(city college of san francisco) library database, not from a Google search. The student should summarize the highlights of the article in two paragraphs and provide a copy of the article to the instructor along with the written report. It is expected that the summary will be at least 3
