You are required to do the following for this particular task:
– I have chosen the topic Sexualised Labour in digital culture. I will attach the article by Drenton, et al, in the files upload section.
– Select two main concepts and/or themes from that reading.
– Find an example online that is related to the contents of the article. E.g. You Tube clip, online news item, another research article etc. You mention what the external example is and how it relates to one of the themes. Does it provide further evidence of what is being claimed in the original article? Does it provide counter-evidence against one of the themes?
– Write an analysis of 800 words in Word around the e-reading article, which also explains the relevance of your online example. A reference list is included in the Word document, but not in the Power point. Just include links to the external example.
– The reference list is not included in the word count.
– Construct a Power Point presentation based on the e-reading article, and include your online example in it also.
– You just need to include dot point re the two main themes of the article. i.e. what they are, why they matter, examples of.
– If you choose a video, generally it will need to run for just a few minutes. If it is longer than 10 minutes please specify particular sections I need to look out for.
– Upload both the Word and Power Point documents for assessment.
– Complete this task in the same week that we cover your chosen topic, and submit it by 8pm on Sunday night. E.g. Health presentations will be done in week 5.
– The Power Point needs to be accompanied by an audio file.
Please embed the audio file in the Power Point slides if you are able to. If youre unable to do this there is an option to record or upload audio files in the assessment submissions area. Students can record up to 3 minutes audio or upload an audio file.
Under Submit Files you will see Record Audio and also, Upload File.
