Follow this structure:
– Introduction Paragraph Focal Frame that establishes significance and claim
– 2 to 3 paragraphs for each of the three points
– 1 to 2 paragraphs for counterarguments and rebuttals
– Closing paragraph- summarizing definitional position developed within the essay, as well as encouraging acceptance of claim
– 1. Typed, 5 complete pages minimum (less than 5 pages will be penalized 6 rubric points).
– 2. Cover pagenot counted as one of the five pages of writingtitle centered vertically and horizontally; name, period, and date positioned in the bottom right quadrant.
– 3. Standard double space, not enlarged line spacing; 12-point font, Times New Roman
– 4. Margins: 1 top, 1 left, 1 right, 1 bottomthat is, 1 all around
– 5. In-text citation credit must be given in parentheses immediately after words or ideas cited.
– 6. Your essay must include at least three types of claims (Definition Argument, Resemblance Argument, Proposal Argument, Causal Argument, Factual Argument, Evaluation and Ethical Arguments…)
