For each novel, you will write a minimum 2 page essay, plus Works Cited Page. It will be in MLA format, double-spaced, 12 point New Times Roman font, no additional spaces. Outside sources are encouraged, but Wikipedia and a dictionary aren’t acceptable sources. The novel must be cited in both the works cited and in-text. Quoting from the novel is expected.
You will take your favorite passage or scene from each book. You will explain it and its significance to you, but, just as importantly, what it has to say about human life, the world around us, etc.
