COVID-19: Compare TX to California and South Dakota. Every state should have online data concerning their numbers of infected and deaths. Look at state websites for your main sources of information (every state has online resources), you may use the media outlets but be sure to research further than just the one or two articles you will cite in paper.

Texas has been on the strict side with their response (at first at least – they are now probably on the ‘least restrictive’ half of the nation), CA probably the most strict. SD is the least restrictive.
How did Texas respond compared to the other two states? Are there constitutional violations (if you cannot locate the constitutions of the other two states email me, I have copies of all of them)? Now state whether you agree or disagree with the measures put in place – opinion must be academic not ‘water cooler’, you may ‘dig into’ the ethics and morals also, but you will then need to cite where you obtain ethical/moral arguments from. This is not a biology class so do not spend too much time on the actual virus information
