The Challenges of Ethnic Diversity
Rules
• The essay is an individual assignment.
• Plagiarism and collaboration is cheating and deeply unethical. It will lead to your exam being failed in its entirety. It may also lead to disciplinary action. Plagiarism is to copy or closely imitate text from books, articles, the Internet, student papers or other sources without proper references. Your exam will be checked for plagiarism using the online plagiarism detector. (see “Submitting your essay” below).
• You must use the course literature. Make sure that you give explicit references to the literature. You may use the Harvard system, with references in parentheses (ex Anderson 1991, s. 22), or the Oxford system with references in footnotes. Quotes have to be indicated clearly with quotation marks or indentation. When referring to a text in an edited volume, you refer to the author, not to the editor. Collect all your sources in a list of references at the end.
• Use a maximum 3100 words. Please, make sure to include word count in the essay.
