The purpose of the project is to practice the application of the analytical and quantitative skills which should be acquired in this course. The final project should be a professional looking manuscript with easily interpreted graphics and tables. This project requires estimating a wage equation that describes labor income as a function of age, race, ethnicity, gender, schooling, and other characteristics. The project may concentrate on one or more specific variables (for example: returns to education, racial gaps in wages, gender inequality) “Project description” is the order instruction.
