Objective: Create a mixed media artwork using watercolor and Sharpie.
Materials:
Watercolors & brush
Fine tip black Sharpie
Sketch paper
Instruction:
Using wet-on-wet process, apply a range of overlapping, circular shapes to sketch paper
Leave some white space without color
When dry, apply fine tip Sharpie within the round shapes
Pay attention to detail and vary line lengths
Color marker may add interest–but don’t over use it
