***Answer the following question about sociology and provide an in-depth multi-paragraph response:
-The number of living languages today continues to shrink. More and more people are using fewer and fewer languages. In other words language death is a very real phenomenon with languages dying off every year. But is this really a bad thing? Why are some people so determined to keep a dying language alive? What is the benefit of trying to keep a dying language alive? Why not let that language fade away? And why do these languages die in the first place?
****I uploaded the assignment instructions and rubric. *Just a side note, I am an American and English is my first language, so this would have to be from my point of view, thank you.
