What outcome(s) did they measure? This could be things like fruit and vegetable consumption or TV time or amount of physical activity. Essentially what variable were they trying to change?

For this week, I am going to have you look into the literature to find outcomes on an obesity prevention program.

Find one article or publication on an obesity prevention program that has outcomes data in the article/publication. It doesn’t have to be from a peer-reviewed journal, but should be from a reputable source (like government or a university, etc.). From the source you choose, include the following in your post:

The full, correct citation of the source

The name of the obesity prevention program (if they don’t give a specific name indicate that)

A brief description of the program/intervention (so maybe 2-4 sentences describing what participants did)

Indicate if the intervention was in the home, school, community, or other (not sure what other would be but just in case!)

What outcome(s) did they measure? This could be things like fruit and vegetable consumption or TV time or amount of physical activity. Essentially what variable were they trying to change?

How long was the time period that the program or intervention lasted that they based their results/outcomes on?

What were the outcomes? So, did the changes happen that they expected?
